London Waldorf School faculty share a deep respect for children and a commitment to lifelong learning.
We strive to bring shared values to life through our actions in the classroom and through our commitment to London Waldorf School.
The role of the Waldorf teacher is to understand and engage each student’s individual learning needs in order to awaken and inspire their capacity for self-initiated learning and long-term academic success. A variety of class and subject teachers will contribute to each child’s learning experience.
The Faculty plays the primary role in cultivating the cultural/spiritual life of the school and making pedagogical and personnel decisions. The faculty meets weekly to coordinate details of the school routine, share teaching experiences, and discuss pedagogical and curricular matters.

Administration
As a non-profit corporation and registered charity, London Waldorf School has a Board of Directors.
The Board is composed of elected members of our community. Directors typically have been involved in the school for at least a year and come with a wide variety of professional skills. Directors are not elected to represent the viewpoints of a particular group; rather, Board members take a broad perspective in carrying out their role to support the school as a whole.
It is the responsibility of the Faculty to ensure that curricula and pedagogical policies and procedures are developed and implemented. It is the responsibility of the Board to ensure that any policies with legal or financial implications are in place and followed.
